Stop over hotels recommended by Matthews Holidays

We have a selection of hotels near ferry ports and en-route to our sites, which are suitable for overnight stops. To reserve a room, please request on the booking form. We book en-route hotels as a service to our clients. The prices include VAT and booking fee. When cancelling a hotel after hotel vouchers have been issued, normally three weeks before departure there is no refund. If cancelled more than three weeks before the departure date, 50% cancellation charges on the cost of the hotel will be levied.

CAMPANILE / KYRIAD HOTELS** RO from £54. Modern hotels mostly motel style with restaurant, usually located just outside towns. Largest rooms sleep up to two adults and one child under 12 per room. Arrive before 22.30.

IBIS HOTELS** B&B from £66. Up-to-date comfortable hotels with restaurants. Some have rooms that sleep two adults and one child under 12. Breakfast is included for two adults. The child is free, but breakfast is paid for direct to hotel. Has a 24hr reception.

NOVOTEL/MERCURE HOTELS*** B&B from £89. Offer excellent service and high standard in a relaxed, practical setting. Most have restaurant and those that do not, have restaurants nearby. Has a 24hr reception. Up to two children (Novotel) or one child (Mercure) under 16 sharing room with adults will receive free accommodation and breakfast.
