Up to three children under eighteen travel free on every Matthews Mobile Home Inclusive Holiday. This is on all dates, all English channel routes and we never run out of places. Extra items, such as personal insurance, on board berths in cabins, hotel rooms etc. required for a child travelling free are charged normally. (Only two free children allowed on North Sea Ferries.)

Facilities for Children
All of our campsites have plenty to do for children of all ages. Most sites have a children s play area with swings, slides and see-saws and sometimes an indoor games/recreational room as well.
On some campsites an animateur will organise different sporting activities for children of most age groups, such as tennis or volleyball competitions. There are evening activities organised also, like talent nights and quiz evenings. It is always advisable to enquire about the animateur of each site when making your booking.

Swimming Pools
All of our campsites have a swimming pool and most have waterslides as well, so there is always something to entertain your children similarly the vast majority of our sites also have access to a beach.

Cotsides
Cotsides or cots are available for all models of Holiday Home except the Supreme. The Focus mobile home can have a camping cot in the twin bedroom. The cotside fits onto one of the beds in the childrens bedroom in the Lodge & Magnums. When a cotside or cot is in use there is obviously one less bed in that bedroom for older children. In general, there is not sufficient space for a separate camping cot in either of the bedrooms in a Mobile Home, other than the above facility using one of the child beds. We do not recommend the use of cotsides for children older than 12-15 months.

Highchairs
We provide highchairs which are supplied by Mothercare, and can therefore be viewed at most of their stores. We suggest that you visit your local branch and ask to see their Pine Folding Highchair to make certain that it is going to be suitable for your own child. These must be ordered in advance and are charged at ?1.50 per night. Please tick the appropriate box on your booking form.

Paddling Pools
All of our campsites have paddling pools for young children so that they can splash around and have fun. Most of our campsites will have a children s play area too, so there is always plenty for children to do.
